Grace and Peace Church is...
...a Bible-believing, Spirit-filled, Christian Church that upholds the authority of Scripture as the final word on all matters of faith and practice. We affirm the historic Christian faith, rooted in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and guided by the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit. We are biblical in our convictions, charismatic in our expression, and Christ-centered in our mission.
God (The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - The Trinity)
We believe in one God who eternally exists in three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—co-equal, co-eternal, and consubstantial. We are a Trinitarian church. The Father is the Creator and sustainer of all things, the Son (Jesus Christ of Nazareth) is the incarnate Word who redeems humanity, and the Holy Spirit is the Comforter who empowers, sanctifies, and indwells believers.
The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is sufficient for doctrine, correction, and instruction in righteousness. Every teaching, belief, and ministry practice at Grace and Peace Church flows from the conviction that Scripture—not culture, tradition, or opinion—is the ultimate standard of truth.
The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is active and present today—empowering believers for ministry, producing spiritual fruit, and distributing spiritual gifts for the building up of the Body of Christ. We embrace the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as a distinct and ongoing work that equips believers with power to witness, pray, and live holy lives.
Baptism and Communion
We practice water baptism by full immersion as an outward expression of our inward confession, symbolizing death to sin and new life in Christ. Baptism is a public declaration of faith and obedience, reserved for those who have personally professed Jesus as Lord and Savior.
We also observe Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper) regularly, remembering Christ’s sacrifice and celebrating our unity in His body.

Human Life, Identity, and Sexuality
We affirm that all human life is sacred, created in the image of God, and deserving of dignity and respect. We uphold a traditional, biblical view of gender and sexuality: that God created humanity as male and female. Also that marriage is a covenant union between one man and one woman, forever. Any sexual acts outside of covenant marriage are a violation of God’s design and sin. We extend grace and pastoral care to all who struggle, offering truth and compassion.
Justice, Compassion, and the Urban Mission Field
We believe biblical justice is rooted in God’s righteousness and calls the Church to care for the poor and oppressed. As a Church, we engage our city with both truth and compassion, addressing spiritual and social brokenness through the gospel—not through political ideology.

Mission and Evangelism
Our mission is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and make disciples who carry His presence into every sphere of life. We believe revival begins with personal renewal and extends outward—transforming families, neighborhoods, and nations through the power of the Holy Spirit.
