This Resurrection Sunday, we step into the powerful account of Luke 24:1–8 and encounter the moment that changed everything—the empty tomb.

The women came expecting death, carrying spices for a body… but instead, they were met with a question from two angelic messengers that still echoes today:

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!”

In this message, we’ll explore the truth that new life begins when something dies, and how resurrection is not just something we celebrate—it’s something we step into. We’ll wrestle with the places we’ve been searching for life that cannot sustain us, and be reminded of the power of remembering what Jesus has already spoken.

And we’ll ask a deeper question:

What does it look like to live—and praise—with the kind of joy that comes from truly believing the Gospel?

Because the reason we praise like this… is because we believe.
