ADVENT: JOY | Pastor John Zayas

This week, we reflected on Advent Joy through Isaiah 12:1–6, a song of praise that flows from God’s saving work. Isaiah reminds us that true joy is rooted not in circumstances, but in salvation—when fear gives way to trust in the Lord. Even in seasons of difficulty, joy rises when we remember that God is our strength and our song. Advent joy is not shallow happiness, but deep confidence in a God who delivers and stays near. Because the Holy One of Israel is among us, our response is praise, gratitude, and trust. Joy to the world—the Lord has come.
